I am not sure that plastic should be banned because it's useful for our life.
However it does kill the marine life from littering.
One good thing about it is its used for chairs,lunch-boxes,containers,storage,technology,cups,t-v remotes etc.
Nevertheless people keep on throwing their plastic on the ground which could effect the environment.
Another point of view plastic can be reused in stuff we have used before.
In conclusion I think that plastic shouldn't be banned because it's useful for our lives but a lot of people are littering which affects the environment if we stop littering we will make a huge difference but
